IN April 2016, Ady Pennock was looking forward to leading Forest Green Rovers into the Conference play-offs.
Pennock, a friend and disciple of Tony Pulis, had just led the ‘little club on the hill’ to second place, their highest finish in 127 years. It never happened. A week before his team were due to face Dover in the semi-final first-leg, Pennock was sacked.
