GRIMSBY boss Michael Jolley praised midfielder Elliott Whitehouse after a goalscoring debut for the club.
Whitehouse signed for Grimsby last season, but missed the whole campaign with a knee injury and his 64th-minute opener was a special moment for the ex-Lincoln man.
