LEAGUE ONE
MIDFIELDER Jon Nolan has been one of surprise package Shrewsbury’s shining lights this season – and the club are eager to keep hold of him as the vultures circle.
The 25-year-old joined from Chesterfield on a three-year deal last summer and could yet earn promotion to the Championship with the Shrews this term.
Manager Paul Hurst said: “We’re in position to offer what other clubs can, Championship football, if we’re successful.
“Then he’d have no reason to leave. We’ll see what happens.”
