NEWPORT County have closed part of their Rodney Parade ground due to objects being thrown at the technical areas during a recent 3-3 draw with Carlisle United.
An FA investigation into the incident is under way, and follows a similar issue last season when Newport escaped punishment for fan disturbance during a game with Blackpool.
The club has decided to close part of the Hazell Terrace to avoid a repeat, starting with yesterday’s home game with Lincoln.
