BONHAM EAGER TO EXTEND HIS STAY IN CUMBRIA

JACK Bonham would be delighted to prolong his half-season loan spell at Carlisle following a string of fine performances.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper had to win his place off Shamal George after arriving on loan from Brentford and has been first choice since September.
“Yes, I’m pleased with it,” he said. “When I got back into the side I knew it was important to put in a good run of games and try to cement the No. 1 spot.
“You could probably say it gave me a kick up the backside when Shamal (George) got the starting shirt off me.
