TO DESCRIBE Steve Lovell as an allrounder is, perhaps, an understatement.
The Gillingham caretaker is a man of many talents. As a player for the likes of Crystal Palace, Millwall and Gillingham, there wasn’t a position he didn’t fill. A defender by trade, he converted to a striker at the age of 24 and promptly finished as Millwall’s top scorer two years running.
