Stopper Mark is as strong as an Ox

MARK Oxley put a family bereavement behind him as his late penalty save handed Southend a narrow win against Blackpool.
Oxley denied Jimmy Ryan from 12 yards deep into stoppage time.
And Shrimpers boss Phil Brown, whose side have now won three games in succession, was particularly pleased for his goalkeeper after a tough few days.
“Mark has had a family bereavement and he was off on Friday for the funeral, so I’m delighted it’s gone for him,” said the 58-year-old.
