WILSON’S HAPPY TO STAY PUT

THE arrival of Johny Placide may push him down the Oldham Athletic pecking order, but goalkeeper Ben Wilson is already keen to extend his stay.
The 25-year-old is currently on a six-month loan from Cardiff City and started the first four games of the season.
And, despite only arriving this month, Wilson wants to remain at Boundary Park for the rest of the season despite the arrival of Haitian international Placide.
“This is an opportunity to prove what I can do. If I get the opportunity to stay to the end of the season, then I wouldn’t hesitate.”
