The EFL have said they are currently not in a position to approve a change of ownership at Morecambe – and have invited potential new owner Sarbjot Johal for talks.
The League One Shrimps said earlier this month that the 20-yearold drinks tycoon was in the process of completing a purchase of the club.
However, the league say that some of the required information they have asked for has still to be received.
