Match Preview: Grimsby Town v Forest Green Rovers (Saturday, 3pm)

Saturday’s match at Blundell Park sees two relegation candidates play each other, as 22nd-ranked host 23rd-placed .

Grimsby have picked up 30 points from their first 30 games, with six wins and 12 draws.

That is three points more than the Green have collected, having won six and drawn nine.

Grimsby are in bad form in League Two, with no wins and three draws from their last six games.

With two wins and two draws over that period, Green’s form is better – they have taken eight points from 18, compared to Town’s three.
