Matty gets nod to be permanent U’s gaffer

Determined Matty Etherington has vowed to give his all to bring success to Colchester United.
The former Tottenham, West Ham and Stoke winger has taken permanent charge of the U’s after a three-week spell as interim boss.
In that spell, the U’s picked up ten points from four league fixtures (though Etherington wasn’t in charge for the 1-0 win at Accrington) and were narrowly beaten 3-2 in the FA Cup at League One side Shrewsbury.
