JOHN Akinde popped up with a last-gasp equaliser as table- topping Lincoln salvaged a point against Exeter.
It looked as though the Grecians would head home with all three points thanks to Matt Jay’s superb curling free-kick midway through the first half.
And when Lincoln substitute Shay McCartan’s stoppage time effort was cleared off the line, they were almost there. However, Akinde buried a left-footed effort in the sixth minute of stoppage time to extend the Imps’ lead at the top of the table to three points.
