CAMBRIDGE centurion George Maris credits the club with giving his career direction at a time when it was sorely needed.
The midfielder, who joined from Barnsley in 2016 after a succession of truncated loan spells, made his 100th appearance for the club in the 1-0 win over Notts County last weekend.
Maris, 22, admits his career was stagnating at Oakwell and is grateful for the role the U’s have played in rekindling his passion for his profession.
