CARLISLE UNITED arrested their slide with their best home performance of the season beating third placed Colchester.
Cumbrians boss John Sheridan said: “It was a very good performance against a team going really well in the league.
“We were clinical and they were all good goals, none of them lucky. It’s brilliant that we’ve done it at home because the fans have stuck by us when results have not been good.
“We are a decent team on our day and should be winning more games.”
