JAMES Berrett is thriving in the engine room at Grimsby but knows full well he must keep up his good form or lose his place.
The 28-year-old midfielder endured an inconsistent season with the Mariners last year but has become a regular under Russell Slade.
The former Carlisle man is now thoroughly enjoying his time at Blundell Park and believes he has grown in confidence this season.
