CARLISLE United are linking up with the University of Cumbria to work together on areas of common interest to support the community. Carlisle chief executive Nigel Clibbens and professor Julie Mennell, vice chancellor of the university, signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the boardroom at Brunton Park last Saturday. It came at the One Carlisle, One Community celebration taking place during the club’s League One fixture against Stevenage.
