FLEETWOOD chairman Andy Pilley said it was “an easy decision” to give Stephen Crainey the manager’s job until the end of the season.
The 40-year-old, who took over on an interim basis when Simon Grayson was sacked a month ago, had taken seven points from the Cod Army’s past three matches heading into the Boxing Day clash with Shrewsbury having started with a draw and a defeat in League One.
