PETERBOROUGH hitman Matt Godden says that the proverbial arm around the shoulder from Darren Ferguson has helped him rediscover his confidence.
Having plundered 13 goals in his first 20 games this season, things soon went south for the 27-year-old striker under Steve Evans’ wing, and he found the net just once in 19 games.
But just over a week ago, Godden returned to form with a brace against Wycombe and is now looking to finish the current campaign with a flourish, having got his mojo back.
