SAM RICKETTS plans to appeal the 85th-minute sending- off of Shrews substitute Dave Edwards in a feisty relegation battle.
Alex Rodman netted a second-half equaliser to earn the home side a point after Shaun Whalley had given the visitors the lead, but the late sending off was the major flashpoint.
