BARNSLEY striker Kieffer Moore’s late header was like a “dagger to the heart”, admitted Southend boss Chris Powell.
Powell thought his men had done enough to earn a point until Moore headed home Alex Mowatt’s corner from close range in the 87th minute.
Powell said: “We managed everything that Barnsley threw at us. We put in a dogged, proper away performance and to concede a goal like that from a set-piece is a dagger to the heart.
