WHEN AN EARLY SACKING ADDS UP

CRYSTAL Palace changed manager this season after four games. So is that too soon?
Personally, controversially, I don’t think so.
At the beginning of a season, a manager has six to eight weeks of preseason preparation with their team.
After four games, a manager will have had towards three months with a group.
If it becomes obvious to a club that there is a total disconnect between the assembled squad and the man at the helm, then the sooner this is corrected the better.
If players are being asked by a manager to do things that they cannot do or do not want to do then a club is doomed....
