STUART O’Keefe is hoping to fill the void left by Michael Doyle during his season-long loan at Portsmouth from Cardiff.
The 26-year-old midfielder moved to Fratton Park on transfer deadline day, making his debut 72 hours later against Rotherham.
Kenny Jackett has clearly shown faith in O’Keefe, and after veteran Doyle’s departure for Coventry following two seasons at the club this summer, the midfielder is keen to play a mentoring role with young teammates Ben Close, 21, and Adam May, 19.
