Resurgent Pirates refuse to wallow

DARRELL Clarke praised the resilience of his Rovers players at the end of a tough week.
Having lost narrowly in extra-time at Wolves in the Carabao Cup last Tuesday night and seen skipper Tom Lockyer sent off the in the dying moments, the Pirates could have been forgiven for flagging late on against high-flying Blackpool.
Instead, they grabbed two late goals through substitute Ryan Sweeney and striker Ellis Harrison to claim a hard-earned three points.
