COVENTRY have been left with a huge hole to fill after midfield lynchpin Gus Hamer completed a £15m switch to Sheffield United. Hamer, 26, joined the Sky Blues from Dutch side Zwolle in 2020 and has since made 132 appearances, scoring 19 times.
