Blades’ Basham keen to play on

CHRIS Basham believes he’s still got plenty left in the tanks after reaching 500 career games.
The 34-year-old Sheffield United defender began his senior career with Bolton in 2006 and, not including a loan in Non-League with Stafford Rangers, reached the 500-game landmark in Tuesday’s FA Cup win against Wrexham.
His appearances haven’t been as frequent this season, but he’s still deter mined to play a big part in the Blades’ assault in league and cup.
