There were a few raised eyebrows when Burnley appointed Vincent Kompany as manager this summer, but it looks like a masterstroke now.
The Manchester City legend has taken to Championship management like a duck to water, revitalising the Clarets following their relegation from the top-flight last term.
Indeed, the ex-Anderlecht boss has done such a good job at the Burnley helm that he was even linked with the Belgian manager’s job after their World Cup flop.
