STUART McCall admitted he was “desperate to bring success” back to Bradford as his tenure came to end.
McCall, 56, and his assistant Kenny Black were relieved of their duties after just 29 matches in charge following a 3-1 defeat at Oldham.
Academy coaches Mark Trueman and Conor Sellars were placed in temporary charge of the first team,
McCall said: “I am obviously disappointed it has ended like this for everyone concerned, but am thankful for the opportunity we were given – and the support we have received throughout.
