IPSWICH defender Kane Vincent-Young underwent a successful groin operation this week and is set to return to the squad within a fortnight.
The 23-year-old was forced off during the recent win over Southend with a recurrence of an injury that has troubled him for some time.
Ipswich boss Paul Lambert said: “Kane came through the operation okay. It was the same situation (James) Norwood was in and hopefully it will be the same sort of timescale. “It’s been hindering him, but it’s not too severe. It won’t be long before he’s back.
