LUKE Matheson has signed his first professional contract at Rochdale after turning 17 last month.
Matheson famously scored an equaliser at Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup earlier this season.
“It honestly is a dream come true. I’ve played football all my life and I can’t remember not having a ball, so I can’t put into words how happy I am to finally be a professional.”
