STRIKER Matty Godden admits being named Coventry City skipper was one of the proudest moments of his career.
The 28-year-old summer signing was handed the armband for the visit of Tranmere Rovers and, although the Sky Blues lost the game 1-0, he was hugely honoured. He said: “I’ve had better days in front of goal. But it was one of the proudest days of my career being made captain.”
