PORT Vale’s Manny Oyeleke has had an operation on a hamstring.
The Valiants said the midfielder, 26, was advised to have surgery after visiting a specialist, but did not put a timescale on his recovery.
Oyeleke had just returned from a hamstring problem and was making his first start for seven weeks when he suffered a recurrence of the injury during his side’s 3-3 draw at Leyton Orient on September 28.
