IPSWICH Town are keen to keep James Wilson at the club beyond January.
The 30-year-old defender signed a shortterm contract until the end of the year after impressing on trial.
He has since started seven matches in all competitions, and boss Paul Lambert said: “I’m sure (general manager) Lee O’Neill will be speaking to James shortly. The lad has done great. He had no pre-season and came in and has been terrific. He seems to enjoy it here.”
