TAYLOR’S TRIBUTE TO FORTE

MATT TAYLOR wished he had worked with Jonathan Forte earlier in his career after the forward was forced to retire at 33.
Forte sustained a knee injury towards the end of last season and will hang up his boots after a 15-year playing career.
“It’s a real shame”, Exeter boss Taylor said.
“He has literally got no cartilage left and it’s bone-on-bone and is wearing away. It is a brutal injury and unfortunately Jonno is going to retire.
