MOULT’S ‘HORRIFIC’ INJURY…

PRESTON manager Alex Neil is concerned striker Louis Moult could miss the rest of the season after suffering a cruciate ligament injury.
The 27-year-old was stretchered off in the first half of the recent defeat at Swansea in just his second appearance of the campaign and scans have confirmed the severity of the injury.
Neil said: “Louis has done his cruciate and so it’s season-threatening for him which is obviously a big blow for us and for him.
“The likelihood is he will miss the season now.
He’s picked up a horrific injury.”
