PORTSMOUTH’S Ronan Curtis will not forget Storm Gareth in a hurry. The 22-year-old Republic of Ireland forward was a surprise absentee from the Pompey squad to face Walsall in midweek. Boss Kenny Jackett revealed after the 3-2 victory that Curtis had slammed a finger in a door and had to have it reattached.
“It is quite serious,” Jackett said. “The wind caught the door. They’ve sewed it back on because it was hanging off.”
