BRISTOL Rovers boss Graham Coughlan believes young defender Alfie Kilgour has the potential to be a future club captain of the Pirates. The 20-year-old made his first-team debut as a late substitute in the 1-0 win at Gillingham and Coughlan sees a bright future for the centre-back.
Coughlan said: “I’ve high hopes for Alfie. I believe he has the potential to go on and fulfil his ambitions, and his ambition is to captain Bristol Rovers. I think he has that quality.”
