GRIGG’S BACKED TO SCORE

SUNDERLAND boss Jack Ross is confident the goals will start to flow for striker Will Grigg.
The big-money buy from Wigan scored his second goal for the Black Cats – the first from open play – in the Checkatrade semi-final win over Bristol Rovers in midweek.
“Will’s general play has been really good,” Ross told a pre-match press conference.
“I’ve never once worried about him. He believes in his ability and he should because his record speaks for itself.”
