JACK Clarke is expected to make his return to action next week, head coach Marcelo Bielsa has revealed.
Highly-rated winger Clarke, 18, collapsed in the dugout at Middlesbrough in early February having played the first half and was taken to hospital, where tests suggested he had been struck by a virus. He resumed full training this week and is expected to make an appearance for the under-23s.
Bielsa said: “He’s well, he’s fit. He will play next week in an under-23 game and probably be available after this game to be with the group.”
