COOPER: DOIDGE GRASPS ROVERS RETURN

FOREST Green boss Mark Cooper believes Christian Doidge “has got his head around” returning to the League Two club after his permanent move to Bolton collapsed.
Rovers chairman Dale Vince confirmed the striker would not be completing a January move to Wanderers after counterpart Ken Anderson allegedly reneged on “a lot of promises” concerning the deal.
Doidge, 26, joined Bolton on loan at the end of August, with the switch expected to be made permanent in January.
