CHARLTON winger Mark Marshall has promised not to rest on his laurels after notching his first league goal of the season.
The 31-year-old, who netted the second goal in last week’s 2-0 win over AFC Wimbledon, also hailed the influence manager Lee Bowyer has had on him.
Marshall said: “I’m a firm believer if you keep working hard, more times than not something positive will happen.
“Now I want to get back on the training ground and continue to work hard.
“I want to get more goals and to provide assists for my team-mates.”
