FRANK Lampard was delighted with Derby County’s victory at Wigan Athletic – but felt his team made it harder for themselves than it needed to be.
Wigan had to play with 10 men for 75 minutes after Kal Naismith was red-carded. Referee Gavin Ward had no option when last man Naismith allowed Harry Wilson to get the wrong side, and had to pull him down as he attempted to shoot from the edge of the area.
