RYAN GLAD TO TAKE IRON RISK

RYAN Yates is excited to take a risk after joining Scunthorpe on loan from Nottingham Forest for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old shone in the middle of the park on loan at Notts County in the first half of the campaign but, after signing a deal to stay at Forest until 2020, is now ready to test himself in the third tier.
“It’s a step up for me,” said Yates. “I’ve had a fantastic first half of the season at Notts County, but it’s time for me to take a risk.”
