’HOSTILE’ COUNCIL FORCING A LIONS RETHINK

MILLWALL are investigating a move away from Lewisham due to the ‘unhelpful and hostile’ council, a statement from chairman John Berylson has revealed.
An ongoing dispute between the Lions and Lewisham over a compulsory purchase order on land surrounding the Den resurfaced this week. Lewisham abandoned the plan in January, but Berylson fears they are once again considering selling the land to developers Renewal.
