LUCAS Akins was delighted to return to the Burton side last weekend and hopes that watching from the sidelines will benefit him in the weeks to come.
The Brewers travelled to Brentford yesterday off the back of a six-game unbeaten run and 28-yearold forward Akins paid testament to the backroom staff for getting him back so quickly.
He said: “It’s always disappointing when you’re missing games. You feel powerless and more nervous for the lads.
“On the flip side, you see games from a different angle and it’s been great seeing the lads do well.”...
