ALEX Lacey enjoyed what he saw from Gillingham during his injury lay-off. The 24-year-old defender, who joined the club from Yeovil last summer, missed two months with a twisted ankle.
He made his injury comeback in the 2-1 home defeat against Oxford in the Checkatrade Trophy two weeks ago.
“We’ve have been in good form, especially since Steve Lovell took over, while I was out injured,” said Lacey.
“We have had a few unfortunate results but, overall, we have done well. It’s been good to watch.
