WEST Brom climbed to third in the table with a 2-0 victory at crisis-hit Bolton last Monday.
Jay Rodriguez nodded home to give the Baggies the lead on 19 minutes and Sam Field struck the second with 15 minutes left.
However, the victory was overshadowed by protests from Bolton fans. Thousands congregated outside the ground before kick-off to voice concern at owner Ken Anderson’s handling of the club.
Fans threw tennis balls onto the pitch to delay kick-off, while some displayed ‘Anderson Out’ banners.
