European Super League? The players wouldn’t buy it

I don't think a regulator is required to stop clubs joining a European Super League. The players will do that.
If proposals for a breakaway league genuinely got off the ground, I find it inconceivable that the PFA wouldn’t protest. Because if it was put to a vote, there’s no way the players would be in favour.

Less game time. Less exposure in your own country. They would also take one look at the schedule and think ‘There’s no way I’m doing all that travelling’.

I don’t care what anyone says - sitting on coaches and aeroplanes all the time destroys your body as an athlete. ...
