Sheffield United will win promotion to the Premier League, but their squad is miles away from the required standard.
Twelve players have made 30 or more appearances for the Blades this term. Two, James McAtee and Tommy Doyle, are on loan from Man City and may well be elsewhere next season.
Five -Ollie Norwood, John Egan, Billy Sharp, George Baldock and Chris Basham - are the wrong side of 30.
Of the rest, only Iliman Ndiaye and Sander Berge possess genuine Premier League quality whilst the remainder of the squad is a hodgepodge of veterans, youngster...
