BRENTFORD are hoping the appointment of club legend Kevin O’Connor as assistant first team coach will give them a boost as they bid to turn their fortunes around.
Since Dean Smith’s departure to Aston Villa in October, the Bees have been in freefall. They have lost eight of new manager Thomas Frank’s first ten games in charge and have slipped to 19th place, just three points above the relegation places.
