Walsall head coach Mat Sadler left the Broadfield Stadium a relieved man after their draw at Crawley Town.
Connor Barrett fired into the far corner eight minutes after the break to cancel out a first-half header from Ryan Loft, Crawley having missed a penalty in only the fourth minute.
The Saddlers are now unbeaten in their last eight league games and Sadler was relieved to get something out of it after his men did not do themselves justice before the break.
